according to my estimates, its been 9 months since i've last posted.    many things have happened, mostly good.   May, 17th 2014 i went  back to Philippines to visit family and also had my sister and her family there as well as Mark.  Grace and  Andrew, her hubby didn't have a chance to visit.

 i arrived in manila on May 17th in the morning.  i was sooo GLAD! to be back home. its been two years.

vacation had officially begun!

my sister and brother in law with Evie and Bryce, whom i met for the very first time.

it was an exhausting ride for them from Portland to Manila, whew!   its good to see each other again.

discovered the restaurant, "My Kitchen by Chef Chris" in Manila.  my friend   Karen had taken me there for lunch.  the food was tasty and well posrtioned couple with great service.  i shall go there again next time i'm home.

Michael Mahilum, another photographer friend of mine msgs me at the last minute and tells me he was shooting a new model and wanted to invite me along.
we all ended up going to the beach.
anyway, this is Heather. the shoot turned out well. she was very cooperative. its too bad we were constrained by time. i had a function to shoot in an hour after i shot these photos.

lunch at Ruby Tuesday

had lunch with friends at Ruby Tuesday on Guam a few days ago with a few friends of mine. i ordered the $11 classic burger(medium well) with fries.
my friends and i got our food almost 30 minutes later and DRY. just totally unacceptable for an establishment like this that charges a service charge.
needless to say we won't be going there for a while.

the burger does look good on the outside but the inside.

kinda like some women i know. great looking on the outside but the inside, hmmmm...
